Welded Grating. An economical design ideal for most industrial applications. Manufactured by welding the bearing bar/cross bar intersection, typically with welding equipment. Available in Mild Steel, carbon steel & Stainless steel. Swage Locked Grating Swage-Locked grating is manufactured with either an I or rectangular bearing bar. These bars are permanently locked to the cross rods with a swaging process which reshapes the rods, Because of the flange width, I bars reduce the open shapes of the grating yet I-bar swage-locked is lighter weight and less costly than a rectangular bar grating with the same bar thickness. Grating Applications: Grating is used for Architectural purposes, Anti-slip bridge decking, Pedestrian bridge walkway, Entry grating, Mass transit platforms, Marine and ship decks, Mezzanines, Non-slip walkways, Non-skid pit covers, Slip-resistant platforms, Trench grating &Truck platforms, etc.
